BlackJack strategies
There are not much strategies for Blackjack. This game
mainly depends on luck.
It is your choice to 'STAND' or 'HIT' if you have a hard
16 or 17.
Chances:
| 'HIT' with hard 15 and stay below 22 |
46% |
| 'HIT' with hard 16 and stay below 22 |
38% |
| 'HIT' with hard 17 and stay below 22 |
30% |
| 'HIT' with hard 18 and stay below 22 |
19% |
With a soft hand you can call any of these hands, because
the chances to stay below 22 in these cases are 100%,
but the upcoming hand could have a lower value than the
hand before.
Double the bet
If you have some money available you can play the "Double
the bet" strategy. This means that you double your
bet once you have lost your previous hand.
Here is a simple example:
Our game balance (gb) holds $10
- we bet $1 => we win (gb $11)
- we bet $1 => we loose (gb $10)
- we bet $2 => we loose (gb $8)
- we bet $4 => we win (gb $12)
- we bet $1 => and so on...
With this strategy you will always have $1 more once
you win a hand than before you started loosing.
Warning: It
is possible to loose one hand after another for a long
time and in this case you could run out of money to double
the bet. So be careful if you choose to play with this
strategy. You can also choose a "double limit"
where you for example just double your bet once or twice
and if you loose these hands too, start over again.
BlackJack is also available at PartyPoker.com,
so why don't you give it a try?
